About Us

Marine-grade craftsmanship for vessels that deserve to be remembered.

"A boat's name is its first impression on every marina it enters. It deserves the same care as everything else aboard."

YachtSignShop was founded by a group of sailors and metalworkers who were frustrated by the state of the market: vinyl decals that peel in two seasons, laser-etched signs that rust, overseas suppliers who send something completely different from the proof.

We set out to build a better product — and a better experience. Signs machined from the same 316L stainless and naval brass used in offshore hardware. Finishes that are hand-polished to the same standard a watchmaker would recognise. And a process that gives every customer a photorealistic proof before we cut a single millimetre of metal.

Our Standards
316L Marine Brass & Stainless
The same alloys used in offshore cleats, winches, and propeller shafts. Not decorative grade. Not 304. Tested for saltwater immersion at depth.
±0.1mm CNC Tolerance
Every letter cut on 5-axis CNC machines calibrated daily. Kerning and spacing are locked to your approved proof — no interpretation by hand.
4-Grit Hand Polish
Mirror finishes go through four successive grits before buffing. Brushed finishes are worked in one direction, evenly, across the whole piece.
IP68 LED Systems
Fully submersible RGB LED strips, dimmable controllers, and marine-grade tinned wiring. Rated for permanent installation below the waterline.
