Salt water is the most corrosive environment on earth. Every sign that leaves our workshop has been built, finished, and tested to survive it — indefinitely.
We don't offer a catalogue of options padded out to look impressive. Every material we stock has earned its place by surviving what the sea throws at it.
Marine-grade 316L — the "L" is critical. It denotes low carbon content (≤0.03%), which prevents carbide precipitation along grain boundaries. The molybdenum content (2–3%) pushes the pitting resistance index above 25 — the minimum threshold for marine chloride environments.
Our steel carries a Mill Certificate with each batch confirming composition. We don't accept "stainless" without documentation. Neither should you.
C46400 naval brass — the same alloy specified for marine propeller shafts and through-hull fittings. The "naval" designation means it contains tin (0.75–1.25%), which suppresses dezincification — the process by which ordinary brass loses zinc ions in salt water, becomes porous, and ultimately fails.
Our brass arrives as flat stock, is sheared to blank, CNC-routed, then passed to our finishing team who cold-work the surface through four progressively finer grits before buffing to a mirror.
Cast sheet (not extruded) — significantly better optical clarity, surface hardness, and UV stability. UV stabilisers dosed for a ten-year no-yellowing guarantee under direct sun exposure, tested to QUV-A accelerated weathering standard.
The LED strip is IP68 — fully submersible. We machine a recessed channel so the strip sits flush and protected. Light disperses evenly through the material using the same edge-lit principle as high-end display panels. No hot spots. No visible source.
Seven working days. Here's exactly what happens — not in vague marketing language, but in the actual sequence of operations.
Most signs are cut at speed, left unfinished, and shipped. Ours aren't. The photos say the rest.
Every sign leaves our workshop with a full three-year guarantee against corrosion, pitting, delamination, or finish failure. If it fails due to materials or workmanship within that window, we remake it at no cost. No inspection. No claim form. No negotiation. You tell us it failed; we make you a new one.
Three years is a meaningful commitment on a product that lives in saltwater. We can make it because we specify materials that are engineered to last far longer — the same 316L and C46400 alloys used in offshore hardware that nobody replaces after three seasons. The guarantee is the floor, not the ceiling.
Order With ConfidenceCovers materials and workmanship for 3 years from date of delivery. Excludes physical damage, incorrect installation, or use outside marine environments.
Three seasons of salt water, sun, and wake wash. The mirror polish on the brass looks exactly as it did when I bolted it on. I expected to be re-polishing annually. I haven't touched it.
The drill template made the install foolproof — two hours including lunch. The stand-offs are beefier than anything I could have sourced locally. Looks factory, better than factory.
I ordered the LED acrylic for night visibility in the marina. The edge-lit effect is extraordinary — clean, even, no visible strip. Three other slip holders have ordered since they saw it.
